• Hold a baby goat!

  • Learn to milk a goat!

  • Learn all about chickens!

  • Snuggles with our alpacas!

We offer 90 minute personalized guided tours of our homestead while learning and getting up-close and comfortable with our alpacas, goats, and chickens! Our first spot of the day at 9:00AM is the most recommended tour to take as we milk our goats every morning at this time, so participants get to learn what it’s like to milk a goat, feed them, and ask questions on how the whole process works! If you don’t get to join the first tour of the day, no worries, as you’ll still learn the whole process of how we milk our goats and have time to see how it’s done and ask questions!

After leaning all about the female goats while having the opportunity to hold, snuggle, and take pictures with them, we’ll go right next door to the next pen with our alpacas and male goats! Like the goats, we split the males from the females, so we control when and if they have babies. Alpacas are in the camelid family and are always very curious as to what you are up to, especially if you have food for them!

When we’re done learning about the alpacas and male goats, we journey over to the chicken run and coup area that is next to our huge garden with greenhouse! We have just under 40 chickens of various breeds that provide us with fresh delicious eggs daily! Learn all about what it’s like raising chickens from 2 days old until they begin laying eggs and more!

Finally, we tour our organic garden, which is usually providing vegetables and herbs from mid-July through Mid-October (depending on the weather) is available for people to see various techniques of gardening that work in our climate to ensure a great harvest for our family, friends, and clients! Depending on what’s available at the time, we offer vegetables and herbs for a small donation.
